The Chiva

I tried to think of something witty to say, but frankly, I'm at a loss. I don't have any idea what she though she was doing and I'm having trouble even making something up. ... anyone else have any ideas?

Goats just love to climb. Check out Suzanne McMinn's blog - she's put spools out for her goats to climb on. (You know, the type that the electrical company keep their wires on)

Oh yes. She climbs on everything. Some stuff I can't believe how she does it. This was especially funny because she was just standing there... just hanging around.

Thanks for the links, I'll check them out!

The poor creature does have a "real" name, ya know.

How would you like to go through life called "The Chica"!?!

Need to remind myself to copy the pics for the kids... They miss the little darling.

She's just trying to keep life exciting for you.

Hope you are well :)

haha! Chica Boom Chica Boom.

I know. She has lots of names, most of them unrepeatable in polite company. But the boys said goats can't have names. Since I'm a goat farmer now, none of the goats will have names. They will be the chivas and the chivos. SHE is The Chiva... do you think she'll demand a little robe and scepter?

Yes! She does that. And brings me a laugh at least a couple times a day. Chiva-therapy!

What I don't understand is why MY boys (Los Chivos otherwise known as Rojo & Tommy-Boy) like to excavate a wallow right in the middle of our coarse gravel driveway - & lie there when it's approaching 100 degrees?!?

I don't have any idea Val. I know ours likes to sleep in the oddest places too.

Maybe she saw a mouse, and jumped up on the ledge then couldn't figure out how to get down?

Of course, we maybe totally overthinking this. Who says a goat plans anything out?

Too cute, thanks for sharing.

Sandra, you made me laugh out loud - of course, to think she's thinking or planning anything *must* be overthinking! ;)
